“What is a QR Code?” I hear you ask
A QR Code is a clever little piece of digitised imagery which is used by technology to jump to a webpage, video, text message or phone call.
QR stands for “Quick Response”, which describes it perfectly.
QR Codes are similar to Barcodes used on packages in supermarkets, for shipping, and many other uses, with the main difference being that the QR Code technology is a bit more clever, and can be used by smartphone users.

If you own a smartphone, you can harness the power of QR Codes by downloading an App or QR Code Reader:
- open the App on your smartphone
- hold your smartphone over the QR Code to allow the Reader to focus on the design
- depending on the Reader you use, you will either need to click or just wait, and the Reader will use the message behind the technology to create an action
- the action could be to go to a webpage, to call a phone number, to view a video or any number of other clever actions
